Captain and Crew of Maersk Alabama

Just also wanted to add to this Monday my cheers for Captain Phillips, as well as the entire crew of the Maersk Alabama, and the US Navy and others who helped rescue him. My thoughts are also with the remaining hostages who continue to be held.

Yes, it is so great that Captain Phillips & his crew are safe. I too hope a good end will come for the others (Italians, I think) who are being held hostage. The fear must be incomprehensible.

Isn't it sad that in this day and age we find ourselves praying for good people being held by PIRATES! But these pirates aren't as dashing as the ones I recall from old Errol Flynn movies.

I hope you will stop by Prattle and share your thoughts on my post about prayers.

Thanks for visiting. I love having you at my table with me.

A time has come in my life to reach into another place, to reach into a cobwebbed and stiff part of my brain - the creative part. And then, maybe to take what I find to hold it out to share. You see, I have never been creative (and am still not, you might say); I have experienced the world analytically. I now see there is so much more to the world than that.

This started with an idea to write a photo-journal to myself. In that journal, I would write and take photos of details to CONTEMPLATE the numerous sparkles of life I have around me, and CAPTURE them to last. So here I am, come join me....
