More Beauty
These are some of the wonders in my yard,
That gave rise yesterday to my teary sense that the beauty
that surrounds me is so strong that feel I could burst. Not that it's all about flowers - not at all. It's about the vibrancy of life, its fragility, its impermanence. But, this place....

Hi Jennifer
ReplyDeletethe second flower is amazing in its structure...
you sound so full of love...
Happy Days
great shots, love the second one, what flower is that, I don't think I've ever seen it before.
ReplyDeleteAren't the columbines/aquilegias magnificent? It always seems as if they are opening their very souls through their pretty little faces. Iris are so much more guarded and roses only open themselves little by little.
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the sweet perfume of these blossoms. They are absolutely glorious!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to be creative.
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer: Thank you so much for the columbine photograph. Those flowers inspire me every time I see them; they've been a favorite since childhood. In fact, tonight I found one on the university campus near my house, and it was so beautiful I PICKED IT--a public flower, and I stole one--something I haven't done since I was very young. I think I really needed that beautiful flower.
ReplyDeleteI love the deep blue of the iris and the columbine has always been a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are beautiful. What an incredible yard you must have.
