A Good Day

For February.  The sun came out and melted snow.  It was strong enough to sit outside without a jacket and feel it on your face. 

A flock of robins swarmed the crabapple tree.


And, for the first time ever, cedar waxwings joined the feast.




The dogs played tug o' war.



And I attempted an Olympic feat...

  1. I took my grandboys out for a 5 mile walk yesterday and as we were heading home, Dylan rubbed the back of his neck and said, "Grandma, I'm HOT!" I found that hard to believe since it was barely 50 degrees outside, but the sun felt absolutely DELICIOUS here yesterday!

  5. That looks like fun. :-)

    We have the winter Olympics here in Vancouver right now, and we're in the middle of ... summer (almost). We have cherry and magnolia trees blooming, tulips, daffodils, crocuses, roses, azaleas, irises, lilies and yes, even dandelions.

    It's embarrassing. :-)
